QA Engineer in MacPaw

MacPaw team of passionate IT addicts who specialize in software developing of innovative and intuitive products for Mac OS X are looking for talented QA Engineer:

General qualification:

•A relevant IT qualification and at least two years of experience in IT industry
•Experience using Mac OS and Macintosh software
•Good communication and team cooperation skills
•Intermediate English or better
•Knowledge of AppleScript and/or Bash
•Knowledge of basic operations automation under Mac OS
•Knowledge of a popular UNIX scripting language like Python or Perl
A successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

•2+ years of experience in software and web testing
•Experience using Mac OS command line tools
•Experience using bug- and task-tracking systems like Atlassian JIRA, Redmine, etc.
•Experience in requirements analysis, testing documentation development and maintenance
•Ability to report work results in clear, detailed and understandable form, highlight prioritized issues
•The candidate should be attentive to details, responsible, able and willing to learn and grow professionally
Recommended skills:

•Knowledge of basic Mac OS interface development principles (Apple HIG)
•Basic knowledge of Mac OS development environment XCode
•Basic knowledge of version control systems, like Subversion, Git
