Payoneer named an entrepreneur from Ukraine the Innovator of the Year

Payoneer, a financial services company, which created a payment system of the same name, announced the winners of the Entrepreneur of the Year awards. Maksym Petruk, an entrepreneur from Ukraine, was named the winner in the Innovator of the Year category. The other categories of the awards include: Entrepreneur of the Year, eSeller of the Year, Freelancer of the Year, Affiliate of the Year. The winners were selected among 4,500 applications.

Petruk has already informed AIN.UA editors that the official ceremony took place at the Payoneer Forum last Thursday, March 14.

“When I was 24, after having already worked professionally for more than 10 years, I decided to join the IT industry, but nobody would hire me due to a lack of experience. It was at that point that I knew that I had to create a workplace for myself,” he told. Maksym Petruk established WeSoftYou, a full-cycle web&mobile product engineering company, at the beginning of 2018. Within a year the number of employees of the company has increased from 3 to 23 and WeSoftYou has managed to complete more than 20 projects.
