Intellectsoft dismisses Kyiv office managers. They were accused of ‘stealing’ the project
The Kyiv representative office of the Belarusian outsourcing company Intellectsoft has a conflict. The management of the office in Ukraine has left the company, as reported by dev.by.
Who got fired
On October 8, Intellectsoft fired from Kyiv office the following employees:
- Kostiantyn Shynder, Delivery Director;
- Tetiana Novokhatska, SVP of Engineering;
- Yuliana Linnyk, Lead PMO Analyst ;
- Oleksandr Stryzhakov, Delivery Manager;
- Oleksii Nakonechnyi, Head of Pre-Sales Department;
- Rustam Gumerov, Delivery Manager.
This team joined the project in 2018 when Intellectsoft started to work with large clients instead of medium and small businesses. According to AIN.UA, then Intellectsoft hired a sales team from Luxoft to find enterprise clients. But it did not meet expectations in terms of efficiency.
The Kyiv office is the head office for the company, since the branch in Minsk, which previously employed more than 100 people, has been gradually disbanded. In September, dev.by reported that the company had 8 employees left, whose contracts were to expire by October 1.
Essence of the conflict
According to AIN.UA’s sources inside Intellectsoft, the reason for the dismissal is the attempt of the new team to steal a large client and the project. An internal investigation is underway, and the work continues as usual.
Artem Kozel, co-founder of Intellectsoft, did not give any details in his comment. He redirected the request to American lawyers of Intellectsoft:
We will tell you when we settle everything down. Your information is incomplete and distorted. We are now busy dealing with the situation.
The outsourcing company, officially registered in the United States, is part of a group of companies owned by Belarusian entrepreneurs: Alexander Skalabanov, Artem Kozel, Valery Kirilov, and Dmitry Lipnitsky.
In March 2019, Intellectsoft employed at least 350 people. Some of them were based in the U.S., and the development was carried out in Ukraine.
