About Cardiomo

Cardiomo is a portable device that keeps track of consumer vitals and transfers the analyzed data to a smartphone. The gadget also informs the user, his family or the doctor about possible deviations in the body.

The startup was founded by the spouses Ksenia and Roman Belkin back in 2016.

About acceleration

Rockstart Health connects portfolio startups with the Ministry of Health and various Dutch clinics, hospitals, and medical institutions, as well as corporate partners such as Philips, Boehringer Ingelheim, Sensire, IN4Care, ZorgDomein.

Since October 2019, Cardiomo has been running an annual program in the German equity-free accelerator biosaxony e.V. The goal of the accelerator is to help young medical companies enter the German market to launch a pilot in collaboration with the Leipzig Heart Institute. As Belkin explained, the presence of the team in the accelerator is not necessary – here Cardiomo conducts a research – so Ukrainians will be able to combine participation in two programs simultaneously.

At the same time, Rockstart Health is a purely commercial benefit for the startup.

Maturity of the startup

Currently, Cardiomo startup is preparing to obtain an ISO13485 certificate.

The device and software are undergoing tests in order to receive medical certification in Ukraine in winter 2020 and before the end of the year – certificates for the sale of devices in Europe and the U.S.
