Reface and Flawless App: Ukrainians on Forbes 30 under 30 list

Forbes publishes the sixth Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list featuring the brightest talents of European business, arts, finance, entertainment, and marketing, who are under 30 years old. In 2021, Ukrainian co-founders of startups made it to the Technology category. Ukrainians are present in other categories as well.

The Technology section features the Flawless App service co-founders, 29-year-old Lisa Dziuba and 25-year-old Ahmed Sulaiman. Flawless App is a tool for comparing design to a real mobile app during development, founded in 2015. Flawless App is currently used by developers from Uber, Basecamp, Disney, eBay, Nike, Qiwi, Spotify, and other companies.

In August 2020, the Reface app topped the AppStore rankings being ahead of TikTok and Netflix. In December 2020, the startup raised $5.5 million from Andreessen Horowitz.

Ukrainians are also present in other categories of the Forbes under 30 list. For example, 25-year-old Fedir Serdiuk, co-founder of the Fast project that trains people with first aid skills, is featured in the Social Impact category. In the Finance section, the list’s compilers included the 29-year-old co-founder of EZ Blockchain, Ukrainian Sergii Gerasymovych (currently residing in Chicago), and in the Technology section—the 29-year-old founder of A-LabInsider, Inna Zaimenko, who now lives in Berlin.

This is not the first time when the magazine lists Ukrainian entrepreneurs in this category. For example, in 2017, Dmytro Zaporozhets, co-founder of the well-known service GitLab, was included in the ranking. In 2020, the Ukrainian projects Allset and BetterMe were featured in the Technology category.
