Ukrainian Datrics raises funds from YCombinator

Datrics, a Ukrainian startup developing a no-code platform for analytics and machine learning, in January 2021, managed to get into the YCombinator accelerator program and received $125,000. AIN.UA learned about this round and now shares the information with readers.

Before, Datrics raised an undisclosed amount from ICU Ventures and $200,000 from QPDigital. Also, Illia Polosukhin from Near, Sigma Software Labs, Altair Capital, Oleg Roginsky from People.ai, Nick Belogorsky, and others invested in Datrics.

About Datrics

Datrics is developing a no-code platform that allows companies of all sizes to perform high-level data analysis without programmers. The platform significantly reduces the cost of implementing analytical models for businesses by using automation, flexible templates, and an intuitive interface.

As of January 2021, the free web version of the platform had 300+ users. The startup also reported that income from B2B clients grows by 30% monthly. As Datrics told AIN.UA, it has dozens of enterprise and startup clients, as well as clients from the banking and fintech industries, such as Revolut. There are also Ukrainian partners and clients, like Ukraine Economic Outlook by Mykhailo Kukhar.

Datrics was founded in May 2020. The company has three co-founders: Anton Vaisbur (CEO), Volodymyr Sofinskyi (CDO), and Kirill Kirikov (CTO). Anton and Volodymyr met seven years ago while working at Barclays. Kirill and Anton have been friends for 15 years — they met at the Faculty of Mechanics, where they studied together. Before Datrics, Kirill was a CTO and co-founder at 4irelabs, a service company with blockchain and fintech expertise.

Now Datrix employs 19 people. Most of them are Ukrainians — from Kyiv, Lviv, and Kharkiv. The team works completely remotely and sometimes gets together in different parts of Ukraine to work and relax together. Soon, the company plans to return to the office in Kyiv.
