Warsaw-based healthtech Higo Sense raises €5M

Higo Sense, a Polish digital healthcare provider, has raised €5 million in Series A investment. The round was led by Cogito Capital Partners, as well as existing early-stage investors, EU-Startups reports.

  • Founded in 2017 by Lukasz Krasnopolski, Higo Sense develops a telemedical system. It consists of a special device that allows both patients and physicians to perform examinations remotely, a mobile app for saving all health records, and an online AI-powered health diagnostic platform.
  • The device has five extension modules that help to examine body temperature, throat, heart, lungs, ears, and skin condition.
  • Earlier, Higo Sense has raised €8 million and launched its medical device across Europe.

“At Higo, our mission is to deliver both enhanced patient experience and improved efficiency for healthcare providers,” says Lukasz Krasnopolski, founder and CEO of Higo Sense.

  • With the fresh funds, Higo Sense wants to help the healthcare system by expanding the range of conditions and symptoms that can be diagnosed during a telehealth session. The startup will also use the process for further scaling across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
