Head of Development Team

Company Digital Ventures is currently seeking for experienced and proficient Head of Development Team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of proven development experience; at least two (2) of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong working experience in web-systems architecture.
• Experience working successfully with senior management and professional colleagues.
• Ability to take an active role in a senior developer position, working closely with the IT Director, Project Managers and Team leaders.
• Excellent management skills and experience in directly managing a team. Ability to motivate, supervise, and work cooperatively and effectively with staff in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously, to establish effective time lines for accomplishing long-range goals and to complete tasks on a timely basis.

Responsibilities

• Managing the development team
• Creating and implementing a development plan that articulates focused strategies to meet short-term and long-term goals consistent with the Company’s mission and priorities.
• Supporting and contributing to activities throughout the organization as needed.
• Being involved in all steps of development — from task formalization to full implementation and testing.

Proffessional

PHP, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, MySQL, ASP, C/C++, development and programming methodology
