SEM/PPC Manager

European company that provides services allowing people to search for, compareand book tickets for all the low cost airlines in the world has an urgent opening for SEM/PPC Manager. The main purpose of the position is to be responsible for planning, optimizing, implementing, and analyzing search engine marketing (SEM) activities. This role requires the ability to operate on both a strategic and tactical level, touching all aspects of the search marketing roadmap including keyword management, creation of campaign messaging, bidding strategies, creative testing, and analytics. Candidates with proven experience in online retail and services sale business as well as strong background in pay-per-click (PPC) management are welcome to apply.

Main responsibilities:

Develop a scalable PPC strategy
Design and deploy high-performing paid search campaigns in Google and Yandex (in Russian and Ukrainian markets)
Grow and manage an annual PPC budget of several hundred thousand dollars
Manage tracking, analysis and insight
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
Daily optimization of accounts for continual improvement
Ensure campaigns are achieving our business goals
A/B test and optimize to maximize conversion/ROI
Work with the content and design teams to create high quality landing pages.
Requirements:

University degree
PPC experience (agency side or Internet retail with $10K+ monthly budget) 1+ year minimum
Exellent understanding of Google and Yandex paid search platforms (especially Yandex in Russian market)
Strong background in PPC campaign architecture and optimization
Strong background writing effective PPC ads, excellent copy writing and editorial skills
Excellent Google Analytics package knowledge
Advanced Excel user
Upper-intermediate English
Strong analytical skills with ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets
Experience with automated bid management solutions will be a strong plus
Google AdWords and/or Google Analytics Certification will be a strong plus
Biddable media experience will be a plus
Display campaign experience will be a plus
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Team player.
